Our project has a strong and cross representational consortium involving 6 partners from 4 countries, including an applied sciences university (MUAS , Germany), an EU-wide network of Women in STEM, (based in Norway), a local government authority (Ireland), Irish & UK VET organization specialising in entrepreneurship curriculum development and social inclusion (OEC & MMS), and a UK specialist E-learning company (CCL, UK).  

Omagh Enterprise Company UK

Omagh Enterprise Company was established in 1984 as the local enterprise agency covering the west of Northern Ireland. The organisation is a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee with charitable status, a strong management team and a voluntary board of directors, representative of the local business community. The aim of the company is to promote enterprise and support start-up, growth and innovative businesses in the Omagh area. The company is committed to its role within the area in the form of promoting enterprise to support community, enterprise and economic development.


Münster University of Applied Sciences (MUAS) has a long tradition of education: founded in 1971 after the merger of public and private schools of engineering and vocational training, it is now one of Germany’s largest and most successful of its kind. MUAS has a multidisciplinary approach, it qualifies people for life in the global market and imparts a living understanding for the changing world of life and work. Supported by a network of strategic partnerships MUAS develops the leading position among German HEIs through a market oriented, effective and enduring design of education as well as the transfer of knowledge and research.


The European Centre for Women and Technology provides a European level platform for leading public-private actors, academia and NGOs collaborating for measurably and significantly increasing the number of girls and women in technology in general and ICT in specific. ECWT serves as a European single point of contact for information, collection and analysis of data, research and the development of appropriate methodological tools to attract more girls to Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), for nurturing and retaining women in the knowledge economy through industry and entrepreneurial careers, promoting the female talent to provide added value to ICT solutions, supporting more female ICT business start-ups and consolidating the largest network for closing the Digital Gender Gap in Europe.


Momentum (MMS) is an Irish training organisation focused on developing progressive learning programmes and platforms for education and enterprise organisations, with special focus and competence on entrepreneurship and innovation. They are highly skilled in the development of digital strategies, specialising in interpreting the fast changing communications and digital marketing landscape, equipping entrepreneurs to benefit from low cost technologies to learn, communicate and trade. Momentum deliver development programmes to over 500 entrepreneurs every year.


Leitrim County Council is the local government authority with lead responsibility for development in this small but fast growing county in north-west Ireland. The council is responsible for economic development and enterprise stimulation, housing, community development, roads and transportation, urban planning and development, arts, amenity and culture, and environment. Leitrim’s population is 31,798 and it is located in the Border Region. It is respected as a forward thinking public body and recognises and is well known for its visionary and imaginative responses to forward planning and the formulation of coherent and integrated strategies, plans, programmes and recommendations.


Canice Consulting Limited (CCL) is a small, outward looking company that specialises in vocational training and innovation support for a variety of development initiatives, especially in relationship to innovative pedagogies and mobile education. The company regularly undertakes assignments involving both local and regional development programmes, SME coaching and training solutions within the wider field of VET. In recent years, we have developed a particular specialism in digital learning platforms, providing a broad range of modern learning services to the EU market place.
